Getting there

For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!

    About this session

2024 is an extra special year as the Hospice marks 30 years of providing end of life care. To celebrate this very special landmark, they are signing up 1,000 children, aged between 5 and 16 years old, to walk, run or jog 2.62 miles around Royal Greenwich Park and enjoy a fun day out with all the family.

The Hospice needs a team of volunteers to help make the Hospice Mini Marathon the best event possible!

    How can you help?

7am – Event set up:  Help with unloading the Hospice vans  Putting up gazebos  Setting up water stations, signage around the park

    8am – Event Help:  Running a water station  T-shirt collection  Event enquiries

9:15am – Stewarding:  Directing runners to their correct starting lane  Helping with crowd control

    What to look out for

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.

This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs
