For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
At this session we'll be helping some of the staff with getting the pond back into action which has been an ambition of theirs for some time. This will involve clearing the pond of brambles and debris and laying a pond underlay and liner so expect some lifting and getting a little dirty! If you have some heavyish duty gloves do bring those along but I will have some spares so don't worry if you haven't.
The task should last an hour at which point we'll head off for some lunch to celebrate GoodGym Greenwich's 10th birthday at Sapori D'Italia on Lee Road which is a 20minute walk from the task. If you'd like to join for lunch please sign up here so I can confirm numbers: https://www.goodgym.org/v3/sessions/ggg-s-10th-birthday-celebration
Meeting point is the dates of the school at 12pm.
New to GoodGym?
Come and join us - this will be a lovely session to get involved and join for food afterwards if you can 😁
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs
Area Activator at GoodGym Greenwich. I love community and getting to know all the great initiatives and people that make it what it is!
