Getting there

For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!

    About this session

Start your Saturday with a refreshing Wanstead Flats parkrun, then head down to Emmanuel Church for some digging and planting. Optional pit stop for breakfast at the Golden Arches on the way! 🍳☕

We’ll be adding compost, planting bulbs and flowers to bring a splash of winter colour, and setting up blooms ready to brighten things up in the spring. Come along, get your hands dirty, and help make the space thrive! 🌸🌼

Feel free to join us directly at the church if parkrun isn't your bag!

    What to look out for

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.

This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs

This session is organised by your Taskforce, a group of experienced GoodGym members in your area. They are not responsible for your safety. You should feel confident to participate in the session as it is described and you do so at your own risk.
