For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
Goose Fair is returning to Forest Rec, Nottingham at the end of September and we plan to get involved!
Join us on Wednesday 30th September 2026 for a spot of litter picking around the fair site before we sample some of the culinary delights on offer - has anyone actually tried those mushy peas or cock-on-a-stick?!
Litter pickers and gloves will be provided but please bring your own if you prefer. We also have head torches but it should be pretty well lit anyway. We may litter pick in the site itself or around the edges of Forest Rec - to be decided.
We will meet by the Forest Rec Sports Pavilion car park, but please be aware that there are major parking restrictions during Goose Fair so plan ahead. If anyone has any questions about how to get there or where to park, please drop us a message below, on our WhatsApp or by email at goodgymnottingham@gmail.com.
Staying for the social is optional - if you just fancy joining the litter pick task that is absolutely fine. We will meet at 6.30pm and litter pick for about an hour.
Nottingham Clean Champions is a volunteer litter-picking scheme aiming to make Nottingham a cleaner place to live, work, study and enjoy.
