🎉 Community Mission: East Finchley Festival 2026 🎶
Sunday 21 June 2026 | Cherry Tree Wood, East Finchley | 12:00–18:00
We’re excited to support the fantastic East Finchley Festival in Cherry Tree Wood – a brilliant annual celebration of local music, food, arts and community spirit.
We’re looking for around 10 GoodGym volunteers (or more!) to help the day run smoothly and bring positive energy to this much-loved neighbourhood event.
📍 Location: Cherry Tree Wood, East Finchley 🚇 Nearest Tube: East Finchley Underground Station (Northern Line) – the park is directly opposite the main entrance 🌐 Festival website: www.eastfinchleyfestival.org

🦺 Role 1: Festival Stewards
Be part of the team that keeps the festival safe, welcoming and well organised.
What you’ll be doing: • Assisting attendees and answering questions • Supporting the festival team throughout the day • Helping with set-up before the event • Helping dismantle tables/equipment at the end
Shift details: • Shifts start from 10:30 and finish by 18:30 • Each shift lasts 90 minutes • First and last shifts involve set-up / pack-down • Safety info will be emailed in advance • A 15-minute briefing takes place at the start of each shift

🎟️ Role 2: Raffle Ticket Vendors
Perfect for friendly, outgoing GoodGymers who enjoy chatting with the public!
What you’ll be doing: • Selling raffle tickets at festival entrances • Engaging with attendees and promoting the raffle • Supporting fundraising efforts
Shift details: • 90-minute shifts • You’ll need your smartphone • Volunteers must download the festival’s payment app in advance (details sent by email)
