Join us to have a positive impact in our community.
We will be running to support Age UK Wandsworth's day centre - a vital resource for isolated and elderly people living in the area.
Our jobs tonight will be in the garden - there is a big pile of mulch to move and other jobs around the outside area. Please bring gloves if you have them.
We will run at a social pace to the task, and follow the job with a short fitness session. There is a back marker so nobody is ever left behind. We don't have anywhere to leave bags but there are toilets at our meeting spot.
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
This is a GoodGym group run. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run to the task together. If you can't run for more than 15 minutes without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator Anastasia Hancock (she/her) by email at ana@goodgym.org.
The total distance of this group run is 5km.
Remember that we will be running to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.
Area Activator for Wandsworth and Hounslow. All things running. For fitness, fun, racing and to feel good - and for everybody!
There's space to change and leave bags and toilets. We're not planning to do anything purposefully dangerous, but GoodGym takes no responsibility for your safety during group runs, you participate at your own risk. Participants accept full responsibility for items stored at Battersea Arts Centre, and Battersea Arts Centre and GoodGym will not be held liable for any losses or damages.
Comments are a good place to ask any questions you may have about the session.
