About this session

Paradise Cooperative is a lovely community garden which offers educational sessions for children and therapy gardening as well as activities for local people. It has bee hives, poly tunnels and raised beds where fruit and veg is grown.

There are several large trees which need a bit of love. The head gardener has asked us to weed and dig round the base, then put mulch on top to protect the trunks.

What to look out for

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.

This is a GoodGym group run. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run to the task together. If you can't run for more than 15 minutes without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator Anastasia Hancock (she/her) by email at ana@goodgym.org.

The total distance of this group run is 5km.

Remember that we will be running to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.
