For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
Meet inside the church of St Philip and St James in Odd Down - the team will be preparing the meals in the kitchen on the left. Knock on the door to make yourself known to them.
The church service usually finishes at 12 - feel free to wait in the foyer and then grab a cuppa before heading off on the mission.
You will be given approximately 4 meals to deliver in the local area. Each address is within a 10 minute walk of the church.
These meals are lovingly cooked by the church and are served in the church but certain members of their community are unable to leave home. By delivering the meals they still get to enjoy their Sunday roast!
Some residents may give a donation for their meals - usually £5 - so you may have to return to base. You never know, there might be a space for lunch - do ask.
Note: if it’s raining, please bring a carrier bag - the meals are distributed in paper bags that might not survive a downpour.
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs
