About this session

Important Information

This week, we will meet outside The Lights of the World Church to help the team with this awesome task. There is not a scheduled group run this week, but you are welcome to use the Arsenal Community Hub for bag drop, changing rooms and WC facilities.

The Lighthouse Community, Evershot Street

"A Food Growing Space designed to promote local food and plants knowledge and tools to become more resilient."

"We involve people into the process of growing food from scratch, explaining the benefits of specific plants and teaching about a number of gardening techniques and approaches."

This location is in need of some attention, ready for new residents to move in.

Expected tasks would include:

  • Clearing the space as best we can

  • Moving few heavy things around to new locations

  • Tending to the garden space at the back

  • Painting the walls of the community hall (can be messy, so dress appropriately!)

So bringing gardening gloves would be a good idea, if possible!
