Important Information
This week, we will meet at Elizabeth House Food Hub to help the team with this awesome task. There is not a scheduled group run this week, but there are WCs and a safe place to leave bags at the hub.
Enter through the back car park entrance at 7pm!
The plan is to help the team at Elizabeth House Food Hub with delivering essential items and shopping to walkable residences across the Highbury and Arsenal boroughs
A list of locations will be organised in advance, and we advise that groups of at least 2 Goodgymmers will visit each location.
Afterwards, we plan to help the crew with closing down the hub for the next day's activities!
Elizabeth House Food Hub have been valued collaborators with Goodgym Islington for years- they were even our group run start location after lockdown!
The team have been operating a busy "supermarket style" food bank collection service- hugely popular and successful in the local area. Over major holidays (Summer, Christmas, half term), families and isolated people are less likely to be able find free time to visit the food bank hub. This is where Goodgym volunteers come to help out!
Task Location:
Elizabeth House Food Hub, 2 Hurlock St, London N5 1ED
