For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
JAGS was born out of one family's tragic loss. Today it is an organisation which protects young people, raises awareness of youth violence, provides empowerment training for women and girls, offers peer support for mothers affected by violence, and most recently, provides hot meals to communities in south London.
Can you help either prepare or deliver hot food? Please fill in the form below before arriving at the task so you can be assigned a role.
The Hub: They are based at 14 Parish (Brixton), where their fabulous chefs cook up nutritious Caribbean food.
Shop Service: We will be serving food into containers and handing them out directly from the shop to the homeless and vulnerable families between 3pm – 5pm.
Deliveries: We will be delivering to some homes and residential areas
We need your help to: ✅ Prep and pack the food into containers. ✅ Hand out meals from the shop to those in need. ✅ Help with delivery runs.
