For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
Every January, we celebrate Scotland's most beloved poet Robert Burns - Rabbie Burns - he's the man who wrote Auld Lang Syne. This year marks the 265th anniversary of his birth.
We've been asked to help out with the annual William Hobbayne Centre Burns Night celebration in Hanwell. It's an evening that promises to be loads of fun, with traditional dancing, live music and a Burns supper. If you've never heard the Address to a Haggis, you're welcome to stay to hear it after the task.
The task: GoodGym volunteers are needed to finish setting up the tables before the supper and wrap the cutlery in napkins.
If you fancy adding a nod to Scotland in what you wear, that'd be most appropriate (think tartan!). Volunteers who wish to stay for the dinner will be offered a table and a complimentary traditional Burns supper - haggis, neeps and tatties (turnips and potatoes).
There are two other tasks GoodGymers can attend on the day:
This is an important annual get-together for the local community in Hanwell and, by helping out, you'll make it a wonderful night for all - come and join in!
The William Hobbayne Charity supports a variety of different projects around the Hanwell area. The tasks we can do for them vary depending on the needs across these projects.

This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs
