GoodGym is a community of people who get fit by doing good — combining exercise and volunteering. The community has done 426,482 good deeds, completed 68,000+ group sessions to help community projects, and run over 6 million kilometres together.
We'll be meeting at Hampstead Heath station where we'll warm up before running 3km to Golders Hill Park. A beautiful family-friendly park with plenty to see and do, complete with a cafe, tennis court, a children's playground and even a zoo.
Once we arrive, we'll get involved in some litter picking to reduce the level of pollution in the area and maintain the greenspace so it remains safe and clear for all the families present. Litter pickers, bin bags and gloves will be provided.
Once the task is done, we'll run through the Hampstead Heath extension to Golders Green station, where we can cool down, then everyone is free to go home.

If it is your first time coming along, you are very welcome — I'm a friendly, inclusive, and experienced run leader who will be waiting to say hi and welcome you! All sessions are beginner-friendly, and no one gets left behind or alone.
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
This is a GoodGym group run. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run to the task together. If you can't run for more than 15 minutes without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator Alex Murtough (he/him) by email at alexmurtough@goodgym.org.
The total distance of this group run is 5km.
Remember that we will be running to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.
