Once again we returned to Hillside Gardens where it was a beautiful sunny Saturday morning to help Tom out with some jobs in the park.

A great group of 8 of us came to help out for an hour with leaf sweeping, grass cutting and mulching.

Lindy, Joao and I worked up near the allotments and tennis courts sweeping up and collecting leaves. We then used our best logic and teamwork skills to untangle a very long and heavy hosepipe!

Down the hill, Clare, Tracey, Hannah, Kaz and a sleepy Nathan 😴 were preparing the ground for some small trees that will arrive in a few weeks. Long grass was cut back along the fence and around the small plants and mulch was spread.

And to top it all off, today was my 250th good deed so I have dedicated the pun to myself 😁
