On Saturday, Simon and Ernestas joined the team from Octopus Community Network at Highbury Quadrant Estate gardens. We were called upon for an urgent moving and shifting task, following a delivery of several tonnes of mulch arriving earlier in the week. Ernestas and the rest of the regular gardening group crew got cracking with shoveling and wheel barrowing large piles of bark and green waste over to the community gardening beds (several hundred metres away, with some twists and turns). In the mean time, Simon constructed a new wheel barrow following the flat pack instructions provided, and successfully brought another vehicle to the job!

Amazingly, we were able to shift 4 huge bags of mulch in just over an hour, allowing the gardens to look lovely and fresh for the Spring time months. A solid morning of graft achieved between us!
