Not wanting to miss out on our weekly group session just because our illustrious leader was enjoying the delights of sub zero temperatures in Helsinki 🥶 Linda was asked to temporarily take charge.

Unfortunately James and Sharon were both suffering with back injuries so we took advantage of being temporarily leaderless and made it an easy session.

The planters at Hainault Station are on railings meaning there was no bending required for our two wounded soldiers so we set about clearing them of the usual cigarette ends, chewing gum and other discarded items from the Hainault Community 🙄

James found a couple of pansies that hadn’t been put in last time and replanted them in a planter which was looking a bit sparse. Apart from that the planters were plenty damp enough and in reasonably good condition so we called the session short and started our walk round the “delights” of Limes Farm estate. During the day this is a pleasant walk with some nice greenery, Linda had overlooked it takes on a very different atmosphere after dark 😳 Rajesh set the pace getting us round in double quick time stopping occasionally to let the hobbling ones catch up. Sharon found us a little short cut back out to the station and overall we were finished in double quick time.

An easy but worthwhile session in good company. Good job team 😁
