Jean finds sanctuary in her garden, and puts a lot of effort into keeping it up nicely. Ryan and I were happy to help out with some of the more awkward or tiring jobs which needed doing before Winter but which Jean has struggled with since she broke her pelvis.

Within an hour we pruned some high bushes and cleared out 4 brown sacks worth of leaves from the garden. We walked back through the house in our socks to avoid bringing the garden back with us, had a quick chat with Jean then ran back towards Islington.
