On a very wet morning today, I put my wellies on, took my brollie and walked to see Mrs J and Sunny, the golden budgie. It's been a while since I last visited and Mrs J was very pleased to have someone to chat to. She wanted to know what I've been up to and, since I mentioned my recent holiday travels to her, she joined in telling me about her travels overseas. She likes talking about her month long trip to Canada, to finally meet her pen pal, who she'd been in touch from the age of 8. Just recently she received a letter from her pen pal friend advising her of her new address. I helped Mrs J decipher the address and looked it up on the map, so she now knows where her friend lives.
