Three goodgymmers ran the 2.5km from Hope Street to Everton park where we met more goodgymmers and John from Friends of Everton park.

We have been to Everton park many a time, but on this occasion we were in a different area of the park, where a children's play area was in need of some tlc.

We were tasked with weeding the area which have become quite overgrown. It was good to see the playground begin well used with a number of the users asking if we were looking for gold. (no such luck!)

We managed to fill five bags with weeds and the play area looked much better - great work everyone! Shame it was so difficult to see the progress in the fading light...
