Today the weather was perfect for a spot of weeding. Clearing the ground for new planting and growth, it was very satisfying for us all to see the ground cleared and the buckets filled. Ivy, sticky buds (our school days name for it!) and grasses springing up amongst the plants, we got it all amongst the beds we were working on. With the beautiful smell of the roses wafting over and a warm breeze, it was very pleasant work. We finished with a cuppa, some biscuits and a good old natter before heading off.
