The GoodGym Leicester Posse (x8) attended the annual Watermead Challenge 5 mile Race and 3 Mile Fun Run, staged by The Rotary Club of the Wreake Valley, their 16th event held in the beautiful Watermead Country Park setting.

A huge shout-out to Race Director Dave, Assistant Director Mel and the brilliant team who kept everything running smoothly Nick, (Stu, who also ran the 5 mile run) and Jimmy helped direct traffic, Martin handed out team numbers to ensure runners were ready, while Laura, Linda and Mel were on hand managing race numbers and supporting participants.

The races as usual started together on the traffic free tarmac paths entirely within the confines of Watermead Country Park on what was a very hot summers evening. 🌞 The event once again proved to be a fantastic community event with runners and spectators enjoying the fantastic scenic park setting.

Thanks to everyone involved - you all made the Watermead Challenge a real splash 🌊! A great evening was had by all and the GoodGym Leicester Posse are very proud to be part of what was another successful event. See you next year....
