Ed and Linda turned up half an hour early to work on the SHP Allotment. Ed quickly got to work finishing clearing the way to the water tank while Linda cycled off on a pre-mission Street Tag collection, her next job was untangling a Walnut sapling from bind weed and brambles which were pulling the branches right down to the ground. Jem arrived bang on time to help out with clearing the fruit trees and tending the planted beds, sampling the odd blackberry along the way. Its starting to look like we are beginning to win against the overgrowth at the allotments. Looking forward to next Wednesdays meeting with Lorena - the task owner and Rakesh - permaculture advisor so real plans for improvement can be made.

P.S. not sure why photos are rotated 45 degrees. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Look on it as a neck exercise. 🤪
