Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Nicky Woodall (she/her)
Charlotte, Michael and I arrived on a VERY bright SUNday morning to a garden that had become somewhat overrun by thistles and other spiky weeds. Mrs R had kindly provided some rubber gloves to protect our hands/arms from the spikes and we got to work chopping at the thistles and clearing as much as we could. Once the thistles had gone, a huge number of spiders were LURKing there so we hoped they found a new habitat soon. Mrs R seemed happy with our work and keen for some more runners to come back and finish the job once she's got some more tools.
