It was the return of the Poplar Jedi as Dave from Poplar Harca and his trusty lightsaber aka hedge trimmers made short work of overgrown weeds. The forest of thistles had gone unchecked over the summer as Mrs C's age meant that it was too big a job for her to tackle alone. For Rodney and I it was just another weekend gardening mission - wake up, run, do good, run back, get fit, feel great.

Mrs C kindly kept us warm with cups of tea and having transformed her front and back gardens and filled almost three big bags with gardening waste, we ran off having started the weekend in the best way possible.
