Young plants need regular watering, especially in this late summer heat. So Alice and David joined Bernie and her fellow local residents, carrying water to the various young shrubs and trees planted on and nearby Stoke Newington Common. It's a task that allowed plenty of time to chat within the group as we carried and watered. Activity and social interaction - an unbeatable combination. Now I'm off for a pint myself.......
