Four Goodgymers made their way to Longshaw Estate in the wind and rain for Muck-in Day. Upon arriving at Longshaw the group met with a Peak District Ranger to hear what their task would be for the day.

Suze, Annie and Tom x2 worked at lopping, sawing and moving brash to help turn the land into a natural woodland pasture after it's life as a manmade plantation. Once the brash was cut down a bit it was put onto a controlled fire to help clear the woodland.

Happy 125th Birthday to the National Trust! It was celebrated with lots of mud and a couple of good pieces of cake too. And a big congratulations to Tom H. for completing his 100th Good Deed.
