Sun sun sun, made the people run run run ..... to the pub and I don't mean the Queensbury sadly. This resulted in only a brave few who showed up and showed out, ready to rock the Challenge Close tonight and do some serious weed-wacking and bin bag sacking for Harlesden Community Gardens. YAY!

Welcoming my 2 favourite name twins this eve I was delighted to see both Samina and Sabina on deck. Girl Power to the final hour Sabina even rocked up despite her poorly back!! Now that is badass! And joining the ranks for the first time was the newbie lady Sean, bringing the girl power pack to a fabulous four.

So off we went into the night, still drenched in the glorious light from the days shine and in no time at all, we arrived 2 miles down at our host for the eve - The gardens that have carved out a community in the heart of Harlesden. Welcoming us in, was our fab host for the night, Gabriel and straight away he led us to the biggest patch of overgrowth in the whole place that was rudely squatting on the soil reserved for more veg planting next week!

So despite our modest pack, we rocked that patch like a red army of green fingered bandits and in 30 mins flat smashed apart those weeds, leaving only clear and gorgeous soil, ready for the plant.

If that wasn't enough before our cruisey cool-down back to base, we smashed out some play time on monkey bars and swings. So after our bout of monkeying around with pikes and planks, we said our thanks and off we went again into the night for one last flight.

On a gorgeous night, four miles we did fight. With girls who were fantastic we sprinkled that Goodgym magic.

See you next time. Pow Pow!!
