A new task 🎉 for GoodGym in Bromley Town on a beautiful and warm ☀️ Saturday morning - we'd been in contact with Bromley Homeless, who work out of Bromley United Reformed Church ⛪ in the town centre, and they needed some help painting 🎨 Heeding the call were Michael and Millie, both Bromley Town regulars, plus Hannah from Croydon - a GoodGym painting session attracts from afar 😀 Great to see you all!

We met with Lianne, who organises fundraising for the charity and was going to pitch in with us, plus some of the service users, to bring new life to the charity's day room. The day room is open during weekdays for those who need advice, support and a safe space 🎗️ The adjoining hallway was also due a new coat.

First of all, we had to get the sheen off of the walls so that the new paint could grip. Armed with sandpaper, the team got the old paint keyed in super quick time. Dust sheets were then put down and rollers readied so we could get to work.

The hallway was GoodGym's main contribution, with a nice coat of white to replace the old neutral colour.

I'm sure we really boosted the group's efforts this weekend to get that painting done. The service users should have a bright and fresh space to use from Monday 🙌

Great work, team! 🙏
