Rachel and Sol joined a group of Friends of Maidenhead Waterways for a session to trim overgrowth along the York Stream.

Saturday morning turned out to be very sunny and temperatures climbed up during session. we all enjoyed the warmth of sun.

Many volunteers joined the session and we all worked together as team to trim new growth grass, brambles and cleared emergency exits from the canal.

We used the nearby picnic table for our tea break and conversations flowed and friendships strengthened.

It was excellent way to start the weekend!
