Yesterday Morning, Aisha and Allora met in Maidenhead to offer further support to the Baby Bank. Both on their Summer break's from teaching, Aisha and Allora were motivated ti get stuck in and help the charity where they could.
This was Aisha's first ever GoodGym session after hearing a friend in another region offering their time to the cause. What a first session of helping the Baby Bank to start on!
The Baby Bank has a large mound of donations for volunteers to shift through and today was no different. Aisha and Allora collected bags of donated clothes, checked to ensure these were clean and sharable and then organised into piles for specific ages groups.
Many bags were sorted in the hour, but many are still to be tackled, a job for another GoodGym session.

The Baby Bank collects donations of good quality clothes, equipment, and furniture to help families in extreme need. They provide essentials ranging from everyday items like nappies, and wipes to larger items like cots. They support families beyond the baby stage, for example with school uniform. They aim to give all children the best possible start in life.
