Spring has sprung, and I helped Mrs P move some furniture to make space for a hospital bed to help her partner to get home. Mrs P was as springy as a March day, but was not able to move the single bed and chest of drawers out of the bedroom, but between the two of us, we managed to clear the mattress, bed and headboard out into the ‘rubbish room’ in the block of flats. Next thing to do was to clear the drawers and manoeuvre the small chest out into the same room, so it could be collected from the council. Job done, and as we tidied up, a gentleman called the flat about coming to help move some furniture, and making some measurements for the hospital bed. Well, Mrs P informed them that part one was already compete, but he could certainly come up and it would be one step closer to having the new hospital bed in, and one step closer to Mrs P’s partner getting home.
