Two of us headed over to Woodthorpe for the annual GoodGym Woodfest litter pick.

We arrived with the event still going strong with loads of people sat enjoying the music, sunshine and food/drink. The volunteers had been keeping the site tidy throughout the day so there wasn't much stray litter. People were very grateful to us though for taking their plastic glasses and litter as we worked our way around the site.

The team asked us to help with the bunting as well and we improvised with the litter pickers to get the bunting over a troublesome branch. We also invented a new game of litter picker fencing which will definitely be making an appearance at a group run in the future!
