I regularly run through Brookmill Park, earlier in the year watching the herons grow in a nest on one of the meanders was the highlight of many weeks. Higher river levels due to heavy rain earlier in the week had brought lots of litter with it which was deposited amongst the riverside plants. Around a sack’s worth of litter was collected.
