Jacqueline, Bea and I met to help Mrs T and her son in the garden on this soggy Friday morning. Mrs T's son normally takes care of this, but after a nasty accident in August he's not very mobile at the moment.

Special kudos to Bea for coming despite having a terrible cold, given the heavens opened just as we started. I'm impressed she made it out, let alone stuck it out to the bitter end.

We started at the back, weeding and tidying around the trampoline. Then we moved to the front, raking up leaves and weeding some more.

As a final flourish, on Mrs T's son's request, we swept up the leaves down the side. He had his accident in the garden so was keen to remove all hazards, such as wet leaves, to avoid a repeat occurrence. I had a lot of fun/difficulty with the broom which was basically made for a giant.

Mrs T waved us off, and both she and her son were very grateful. Bea headed off home for some well-deserved tea and rest, while Jacqueline and I made the strenuous trip 100m across the road for the second mission of the day...
