This morning's session at the Baby Bank saw Mark, Gillian and Sheila again faced with mounds of donated clothes to sort. We were giving the clothes a secondary sort after a corporate team had been in, and stow spares away in labelled bags. Sheila and Gillian were also asked to each bag up sets of clothes to go out to families in need. It's amazing how a full box of clothes never seems to have quite all items you need!

Providing essentials to families in extreme need

The Baby Bank collects donations of good quality clothes, equipment, and furniture to help families in extreme need. They provide essentials ranging from everyday items like nappies, and wipes to larger items like cots. They support families beyond the baby stage, for example with school uniform. They aim to give all children the best possible start in life.
