Six intrepid 2 legged litter picking GoodGymers met at the Baffins Pond plus one 4 legged recruit, Louisa's dog Pip. We learnt that she needs to be ignored to decide to trust us... But treats do help.

The pond area was fairly clear of litter which was good, but there were a few packets and bottles to be fished out of the water and off the wetlands. Jen had the best go go gadget arms for fishing and was quiet enough in the wetlands not to disturb the nesting swan. I practiced my balancing skills on the fence and did manage to catch some rubbish... Although some did remain frustratingly out of reach.

Wilson found a half full (or half empty?) tube of Pringles and was tempted to sample them.... But didn't! She also found a pair of legs & Harry found a yellow chick / egg with a face. Sadly that was one of the last things their litter picker picked up as it was later dropped and broke irreparably 😕

Tracey was on glass duty and luckily we didn't fully fill her bag AND she was able to empty it straight into the glass banks too.

A lovely way to spend a Wednesday... Maybe we can start calling it GoodGymday again now?!
