Saturday morning's task was to help Streatham Vale Youth Centre get a facelift, by painting the main room a lovely green.
Three Goodgymmers, 2 young service users and Amy (our main contact and member of staff at the centre) made a great start with the job. We managed to move furniture to the centre of the room and paint the first coat on a large section of wall with lots of intricate painting around wall plugs and pipes.
We look forward to visiting soon to see the end product!

Delivering youth and play work to local children of all ages
SYCT's mission is to support children and young people to reach their full potential by providing regular stimulating, challenging, exciting and rewarding activities and opportunities. Most of their funding goes directly into the delivery of services and a skeleton staff team look after finance, fundraising and asset management. This means they don’t get the time needed to deal with things like repairs, maintenance, deep cleaning and the like.
