A slight change of scenery for a Saturday Parkrun back at Horspath for Event #144. I arrived fresh at 8am to aid in setup of the event regularly cited as having, "the most pieces of equipment per parkrunner," (I'm not sure if that's true or to the region in which that stat is specified). With the start & finish, cones around the first half, flags to denote pathing around Teletubby hill, arrows and tape for the switchback, I swiftly got to work doing my bit with the other early rising volunteers. After setup, I ran my new PB for Horspath (22:33) finishing 22nd. A highlight was the recent introduction of horse mascots for Horspath. 2 runners wore inflatable horse costumes and 2 hobby horses were named in a democratic vote to start tourisming around different Parkruns and spread the word about the event.
