Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Olga
What a great day for volunteering at Sutcliffe parkrun in Kidbrooke/Eltham! With brilliant weather for PBs, a flat course, a pacing session, and a record-breaking 452 parkrunners, it ws the perfect setting for some classic GoodGym magic!
Ivar was our unstoppable GoodGym Good Deed Machine! He kicked things of with pre-event setup, placing cones in all the right places to guide runners safely around the course. And then without missing a beat, Ivar dashed off to another Good Gym mission in Welling!
Serious January Challenge energy there, Ivar!
Olga volunteered as as 35-minute pacer!
One of the best moments of the day? Two accidental volunteers who couldn't resist th pull of the GoodGym red shirts. Spotting Ivar and Olga, they stopped to say hello.. . and before long, they were joining in a GG good deed and offically on the parkrun volunteer roster - two absolute legends: * Duncan from Worthing stepping up as a Tail Walker, making sure no one was left behind! * Lucy from GG Porsmouth truly smashed it, volunteering for not one but TWO tasks today! She paced brilliantly as a 26-minute pacer, then went straight on to do a fantastic job with token sorting. Lucy you are a star!
Looking forward to another GGG volunteering mission next Saturday!
