Nine runners helped Carriers of Hope to pack and organise their Christmas gift bags tonight. It was a great example of many hands making light work :)

There was already a hive of activity in the warehouse when the first few of us arrived. We joined the production line and began tying up the bags and putting them in crates ready for the shelves. More Goodgym folk arrived and began to take the filled crates to stack on the shelves. Every shelf in the warehouse was filled!

There was plenty of time left to help bring in a car full of donations that arrived while we were there.

Everyone was so efficient tonight, and we managed to complete all the work they had planned for the rest of the week! Carriers of Hope are now back on track and can cancel the rest of the emergency volunteer sessions they had organised.

There will be lots of delighted children and families next Saturday when all those gift bags are given out! If you want to be part of that, you can sign up to the community mission on 14th December, at Hillfields Church.
