Good weather welcomed two Goodgym newbies to Mrs B 's home.

Livvy and myself were given a very warm welcome by Mrs B who shared some of her past experiences and entertaining stories with us over a cuppa before we headed into the garden to start work.

Due to ill health Mrs B has been unable to maintain her garden with trees and bushes becoming overgrown.

She put us to work with pruners and a small hand saw. We both had a good arm workout tackling some of the bigger branches and cut back everything along one side of the garden.

We didn't manage to get the rest of the garden done but Mrs B was very grateful for our effort and had enjoyed our visit. She was keen to arrange another mission so hopefully we'll see her again soon.

Mrs B gave us a lovely cheery smile, a big thank you and another amusing story to see us on our way.

We both left ready for a well earned Sunday lunch and agreed that it had been a really enjoyable start to our day.
