A change of base for the team.

Due to restrictions during covid The Aquatics Center have changed how they run on a daily basis and at the moment can't accommodate us so we needed to find a new places for meeting up and bag drop for our group runs.

We gaveGraham the task of finding a new base and he did not disappoint when he managed to negotiate with The Print House and obviously is great for a quick rehydrate post run.

Basia from Cody Dock was still on holiday so Ben met us when we arrived at the task after a gentle 2km run down The River Lea a little later than planned as Dan and Ruth had slightly miss judged the distance from East Village to the Print House.

Becky joined us from Tower Hamlets and joined Rosa and Hilary on the run as Kevin and I took on the role of back maker......means I had time for photos and to take it easy as still recovering from completing The Big Half.

Bens task was to clean and old refrigeration container unit that had a previous role as a juicer unit but is to repurposed as a lab for staff and volunteers at Cody Dock to analyse the water and animals of the tidal mud flats along the River Lea.

Once the cleaning was completed we said our farewells and head back up the river for some refreshments at The Print House
