It was an early rise for Sheila, Gillian and Rachel as we were volunteering at the London Landmark Half Marathon as Marshalls and supporting our very good Goodgym friend Georgeta, who was racing today. Bibs collected, packed lunches collected and in positions by 9.00am. We were in the city of London at a very busy junction where spectators could get two chances of seeing runners. Slowly the route got busy and for the next 4 hours we directed and aided people across the roads in the brief gaps between runners. This was not as easy as expected but the race passed and the crowds and runners ebbed away. We stood down and went to celebrate Georgeta's epic run. She swears she won't be doing this again....but we're not so sure this is the end....
