Today we welcomed new GoodGym member Emma, and honorary four-legged GoodGym runner Percy, for a social ramble around the Skyline walk with a small amount of litter-picking thrown in.

I say a small amount of litter picking because that's all we were able to find - a small amount of litter. Whilst we went along with big ambitions of doing a massive tidying operation, it was lovely to find this beautiful 10km-ish walk around the edge of Claverton Down was already in a tidy state ahead of our visit.

We met at the top of those lovely, well-maintained steps up towards Sham Castle, and headed out through the woods, out across Bushey Norwood Common, and then followed the Skyline back down past the nuttery and over Bathwick Common to finish a lovely morning out.

Might I suggest we also now have enough of a critical mass of four-legged friends for a fully-fledged (apols for mixing animal metaphors) dog-centric Bath GoodGym outing at some point...
