Well, there is mud and there is mud. This fell race was mud in the extreme.

That wasn't a fell race. That was a tough mudder.

We had Joe and Ed doing their first fell races and they picked a seriously tough one so well done both. It was also Stef's first outing with the GG fell racing squad and he loved it.

We cheered each other in from the top of the last slidey, muddy incline and then celebrated our survival with some huge chunks of cake.

We asked for three words from all the new runners to describe their experience.
