It was a beautiful evening and once again we met at The Old Town Childrens Centre in Poole

Jane brought along her husband on the bike, whilst Patricia ran to and from the task.
Christine parked up a mile away to run down along the still warm baitor park.

Tonight was weeding and cutting back, Pat, Jane and Geoff already on the task as Rob and myself rocked up to join in. Geoff, not a runner but happy to lend a hand, did a great job cutting back the over grown trees making a little den area the kids can enjoy! Jane planted in old tyres and Pat happily cut down trees. Rob and myself were on the weeds and Christine found an area to start clearing on the other side.

45 mins of a lot of chatter, cutting, and pulling - It was bag filling to finish.

A great pile of bags filled up from all the clearance and you can start to see how lovely this garden actually is with its shaded areas and exciting dens and little paths.

We hope to return next month as the Centre goes through many changes to its structure in the current environment.

Robert, Esther and Christine took a run back to Baitor in the still warm area, leaving the Edwards' cycling home and Pat on her direct route back.

Well done everyone!
