This afternoon I visited Ms W in her care home. It was lovely to hear that Ms W spent Christmas Day at her sister's place, with her family. And she very much surprised me by announcing that it has been one year since I started visiting her! Ms W is blind and, very understandably, she finds it quite hard to keep track of time.. To hear her telling me that, was really quite moving... I said I was thinking the same, I remembered describing to her her Christmas tree, adorned with lots of robins, on my first visit. We celebrated with a slice of carrot cake that I'd saved for her and a cuppa. 🎉🍰☕ 🤩
