Working with the #oneslough team over the past few months has been great. It has lead to more tasks for us and building a better network and having a better understanding of other local community groups.

So when the Chairman of Slough CVS rings you and say he’s desperate for volunteers to help move furniture from location x to y to help support vulnerable families that need these items for their newly appointed accommodation, who are we to say no?

So on a wet Friday morning, Sut Nisha and I met Jamie at location x to move items to location y.

This furniture will be used to help support families who have had to flea their homes to help them set up a new safe home.
