On a very hot morning a group of GGers met on the steps of the beautiful Osterley house to help warm up the crowds before the 10k race. Many had already either volunteered at the parkrun there beforehand, or run it, and several were preparing to do the race in some challenging conditions. In front of a big crowd of runners we jumped, lunged and high fived with a lot of laughing in between! Together we got everybody warmed up and ready to smash that tough 10k course. Well done to everybody who were on the steps and also to Stef, Michelle and Alan for racing brilliantly.

We Run Ealing
Delivering inclusive community-focused running activities and related volunteering for people of all ages and abilities in Ealing

WE RUN EALING is the charitable arm of the award-winning Ealing Half Marathon. We deliver community-focused running initiatives, many of which are free and open to people of all abilities. Previously known as EHM Legacy, thanks to Ealing Half Marathon, we have done heaps of stuff over the last ten years to help get people moving in Ealing. We have had installed a new drinking fountain installed Lammas Park – popular with humans and dogs! During lockdown we arranged events to encourage Ealing residents to run or walk to dozens of local parks. More recently we have brought the Blended Trails trail-running concept to Ealing and launched Ealing’s first ever Food Bank Run, in partnership with GoodGym and parkrun.

Great to meet some new Goodgymers and it was fun warming the crowd. Great job from all and well done for those who ran the 10km like me in the heat and dust. Beautiful place for a running event.
