Hot weather continues today but it was lovely to have a cooler evening!

Today we got straight to the task where Polly the rev met us and explained her plans for revitalising an area that currently has a number of anti-social issues that are not helped by neglected and overgrown areas! Tonight's task was to clear the hedge area by pulling out previously cut branches and putting them all into one corner for the skip to take away in a few weeks.

This was a thorny business and Rebecca definitely got the worst of it from very sharp dry brambles - ouch!!!! It was a good thing to then move on to litter picking!

Raymond and his best buddy Rake did a great job pulling out the dried out piles from undergrowth so we could move them!

Once we finished, R&R walked back to Walthamstow, which actually is rather far!!! And I cycled home - a longer ride but super enjoyable in the cooling weather!

Next week we are going to the Baby Bank directly as there's an event at the Greenleaf and we are not able to assemble there!
